Privacy Policy
DigiDesk is a personal productivity workspace. This page explains, in plain language, what data we handle and why. We keep it short on purpose.
What we store
- Account details you provide: your name, username, and email. Your password is stored only as a secure hash — we never see it.
- Content you create: tasks, weekly and monthly plans, projects, notes, focus sessions, and similar items.
- Preferences such as theme, accent colour, and language. Many of these are kept in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
How we use it
Only to run the product for you: to show your plans, sync your data across sessions, and (if you use them) power community features. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your session and preferences. If site analytics are enabled, they are privacy-friendly and anonymised (IP anonymisation), and never tied to your identity.
Third parties
We keep external services to a minimum. If analytics are enabled, aggregate, anonymised usage data may be processed by our analytics provider. We never share the content you create with third parties.
Security
Passwords are hashed, access is authenticated with tokens, and connections are encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your data.
Your rights
You can update your profile at any time, and you can ask us to export or delete your account and data. Contact us and we'll help.
Children
DigiDesk is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
